Football Player Claims He Was Cut Because Of Support For Homosexual “Rights”

The Vikings former punter, Chris Kluwe, writing for Deadspin, believes he was fired for his homosexual “rights” activism.

After Chris Kluwe was let go for his performance on the field he retaliated with the claim that the coach did it because he supported homosexual “rights”. Kluwe then also claimed the coach made the comment that “We should round up all the gays, send them to an island, and then nuke it until it glows.”

Coach Priefer said that it was lack of performance and had nothing to do with Kluwe’s personal beliefs. He also denied the claims of any statement that Kluwe had made up.

Kluwe claimed that near the end of November, several teammates and himself were walking into a specialist meeting with Coach Priefer. Kluwe said several teamates were laughing over an article Kluwe had written supporting same-sex marriage rights.

Kluwe then claimed that coach Priefer said “We should round up all the gays, send them to an island, and then nuke it until it glows.” in one of the meanest voices he can ever recall hearing.

The Vikings released a statement about Kluwe’s accusations on their website, saying the team does not tolerate discrimination “at any level” and that Kluwe was released “strictly based on his football performance.”
