The taxi driver who was suspended for wearing a Swastika armband has given an interview in defense of his right to express himself and his belief of National Socialism.
Gabriel Diaz is a Dominican living and working in New York. The interviewer assumes the position that the Nazis would have wanted to murder Diaz because he isn’t white, but Diaz insists he knows his stuff and defends his ideology against the media.
‘I’m a National Socialist – what you guys call a Nazi,’ he told WCBS. ‘I know it’s very controversial that a non-white is wearing a Nazi armband,’ he told the Daily News. ‘Whoever said you had to be white to be a National Socialist?’
